As reports of racially based harassment have increased over the past week since the election of Trump — even here in my liberal bastion of urban Ph

I couldn’t help but assume the reason these people were telling me not to say even a word to this troll was because women aren’t supposed to fight back. We’re supposed to rise above — to “not stoop to their level,” as my mom used to say.

The debate is on, and the internet at large has yet to reach a definitive answer. But I think we've finally found it.
