Laurel Dickman

Bio

Laurel Dickman is an intersectional feminist writer living in the East Bay. Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida she spent her childhood split between North Carolina and Florida, eventually running away at 21 to be a boho princess in Neverland, also known as Portland, Oregon. Laurel writes about fat bodies, plus-size fashion, self-care, music, and beauty. Aside from writing, Laurel also occasionally models, works as a personal stylist, and styles body-positive photo shoots alongside creative partner Suma Jane Dark. She lives with her Maine Coon by the name of Dorian Gray and her fiancee David on the side of what feels like Mount Olympus and has found herself currently obsessed with tea, waffle cookies, her loudly ticking biological clock and planning a wedding on a shoestring budget.  Follow Laurel on Facebook.
