Sex at any age involves trust and self-exposure, but especially for adolescents just learning to trust themselves and their partners in relationships. When slut shaming exposes someone to intense humiliation and possibly further social ostracism, the emotional damage can be terrible.

As women, we live in the ultimate lose-lose situation. The ways in which we display our sexuality and bodies are constantly being evaluated and condemned for any reason people can conceive.

After sorting through all of the reasons why people claim that dress codes are needed, I can't find a single one that holds any weight or that isn't founded in strangely Victorian ideals about girl's bodies.

Is it wrong for school officials to tell young women what they're wearing is too sexy? Or is regulating dress code good common sense?
