Every Bay Area resident worth their salt has been, or plans to go, to Outside Lands, a three-day summer music festival in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park that routinely draws the biggest names in the music biz.
I myself have yet to go (modify the previous sentence to: It's a very expensive three-day music festival in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park that routinely draws the biggest names in the music biz), but based on the just-released lineup, I think this may be the year I cut back on eating out for a month, and spring for some tix.

Mumford & Sons (MUMFORD & SONS!)
The Black Keys (THE BLACK KEYS!)
Kendrick Lamar (KENDRICK LAMAR!)
Billy Idol (BILLY IDOL!)
Plus some cool bands like St. Vincent, Wilco, and First Aid Kit, and a bunch of musicians I've never heard of because I'm not that cool.
Anyways, it looks awesome. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Maybe I'll see you there?
