Here's some inspiration for anyone who's been wanting to take up cross-stitch, but just hasn't found the right inspiration. This 30- foot long cross-stitch tapestry depicts the plot line of Star Wars in all its inter-galactic glory.
Handcrafted by London designer Aled Lewis, "The Coruscant Tapestry" boasts embellished borders with quotes in Aurebesh (which according to Wookieepedia was used by the inhabitants of the Settled Worlds prior to their first contact with Rakata) from the iconic films. Oh, and it's currently for sale in Los Angeles at Gallery 1988 – you can snatch it up for a cool $20,000.
May the stitch be with you. (Image: commons.wikimedia.org)
