Here’s a 1940s Jukebox Version of “Like a Prayer”

Everyone loves a good cover song. They offer all the pleasure of a catchy tune without the time investment of listening 10 times before a semblance of enjoyable familiarity sets in.

Postmodern Jukebox is arguably one of the best at putting a quirky spin on classic covers, adding a 1940s-like swing to favorite pop tunes. This time around, the group has covered Madonna’s “Like a Prayer.” Sure, it’s a little weird, and the lyrics probably don't make much sense in a 1940s context, but it's also pretty great. And what better time to lose yourself in peppy nostalgia than on a depressing Monday?

Enjoy!
