Bio

Claire Rudy Foster is the author of the short story collection I've Never Done This Before. Twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Claire's writing appears in McSweeney's, The Rumpus, Catapult, and other journals. She has contributed writing on queer issues, relationships, and substance use disorder at NPR, The Washington Post, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and teaches writing workshops for people in recovery. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
