Neesa Sunar

Neesa Sunar works as a mental health peer specialist at a housing agency in Queens, New York.  She shares her personal lived experiences with schizophrenia to help others in their suffering.  She is the founder and main admin for a mental health support group on Facebook, called "What is Wellness? A Mental Health Discussion Group."  She also has published a book of poems called "Memories of Psychosis," inspired by the mental illness experience.
