Kate Moss Borrows David Bowie’s Threads, Reminds Us Why Clothing Swaps are the Best Thing Ever

Kate Moss accepted the Brit Award for best male solo artist on behalf of David Bowie while sporting an original 1972 “Woodland Creatures” playsuit, complete with prancing Japanese rabbits. It got us to thinking — why don’t more celebrities trade clothes? We would personally love to see more fabulous identity swaps, complete with dazzling ensembles.

With celebrities often chided for ever wearing the same thing twice, it would seem they each have a never-ending mill of fabric churned out for their disposal — trading wares would be a perfect solution

Canadian photographer Hannah Pesut was particularly interested in the clothing trades across genders, and included couples from around the globe in her “Switcharoo” series. Admittedly, Moss has the upper hand in the chic department, but we still think it’s fun to put the shoe on the other foot (literally). And James Franco in confusing-ly hot drag ain't so bad either.

Until our fantasy trend catches on, we’ll just have to settle for these super-awesome faux-swaps that have us in stitches (check out the Obamas, Kimye, the Royal Family and more).
