Your Daily Coffee Habit May Actually Save Your Life

If you're anything like me, your first coffee of the morning is just a warm-up for your next cup of coffee. Thanks to the wonders of science, you can now chug those buckets of joe guilt free: coffee may actually make you live longer!

A new study by researchers at the Harvard school of public health found that drinking three to five cups of coffee is associated with a 15 percent decreased mortality rate. Decaf coffee conferred similar benefits, so even if caffeine hops you up like a toddler on Halloween, you can still become immortal like me.

This isn't the first study to suggest coffee's benefits. Previous studies have linked coffee consumption to decreased risks of strokes and type 2 diabetes. Hallelujah, praise the lord, coffee is a goddamn health food!

While some mean, mean naysayers are quick to point out that this study suggests a correlation, not causation, that's good enough for me. I'll take a mocha, please –– and make it a quad shot.
