I am the "advice columnist" of my friends' group. How much helping is too much helping? Should I stop giving unsolicited advice?

I’ll be 33 this year, and I’m proud to say I know myself much better as a thirty-something than I did as twenty-something.

Welcome to Wednesday! 

Back in my early twenties, I struggled financially. But more so in that much-mocked Millennial quest of “finding myself,” I made a number of questionable decisions.

I’m uprooting my life to try something new and different in another city in another state. In the time leading up to the actual move, I’ve found that a bunch of weird fucking shit (for lack of a better term) has showed up out of nowhere.

Wouldn't it be great if we could go back in time and talk to our younger selves? What would you say (besides ridiculing those questionable hairstyles and dodgy dates!)? Fortunately, we live and learn — painfully at times — and realize these experiences only define who we are.

Is divorce the answer? Maybe. Sometimes.
